ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance and manage its environmental responsibilities systematically, contributing to the environmental pillar of sustainability. It helps organizations achieve the intended outcomes of their environmental management systems, providing value for the environment, the organization, and interested parties (www.iso.org/standard).

Petro Rabigh achieved initial ISO 14001:2015 and RC 14001:2015 certifications in 2016 and 2022, respectively. Both certifications are valid until November 2025.

ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system and provides guidance for its use. It enables organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injuries and illnesses, as well as proactively improving their OH&S performance. The standard establishes, implements, and maintains an OH&S management system to enhance occupational health and safety, eliminate hazards, minimize OH&S risks (including system deficiencies), leverage OH&S opportunities, and address OH&S management system nonconformities associated with the company’s business activities (www.iso.org/standard).
