Motassim Al-Mashouq was appointed as a Petro Rabigh Independent Board Member, bringing over 36 years of extensive experience in the global energy sector.

Mr. Al-Mashouq's distinguished career at Saudi Aramco included strategic roles such as Vice President of New Business Development, Vice President of Corporate Planning, and Group Treasurer. Notably, he led Saudi Aramco's IPO preparation as Vice President-IPO Development and held executive roles as President and CEO of PetroLube and Petron Corporation in the Philippines.

He is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director for Northern Trust Saudi Arabia. His board memberships have spanned across prominent organizations, including Petro Rabigh, Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company-Luberef, Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, Saudi Aramco Entrepreneurship Company-Waed, TAQA, and the Saudi Industrial Investment Company-Dussur.

Mr. Al-Mashouq holds a Master's degree in Area Studies (Economics, Politics, and Law) from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, a Bachelor's degree in Arts from the University of East Anglia, and an Executive Certificate from Stanford University's Executive Program.
