Takashi Shigemori joined the Petro Rabigh Board of Directors in May 2016, and has been the company’s Vice President of Market Development since January 2011.
With a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from the University of Tokyo and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Virginia in the USA, Mr. Shigemori joined Sumitomo Chemical’s Corporate Planning Office in 1983 and later held management positions at the Polyolefin Co (Singapore) Pte Ltd, Sumitomo-Mitsui Alliance Project Office and Sumitomo Chemical Asia. Mr. Shigemori was also involved from 2004 to 2006 in the Rabigh Project Office, and prior to being appointed Vice President of Market Development was the company’s Manager of the Supply Chain Management Department.
