Shinji Horiuchi was appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Finance & Accounting Function at Petro Rabigh, effective July 11, 2024.

Before joining Petro Rabigh, Horiuchi held various significant positions at Sumitomo Chemical, including Vice President & Corporate Secretary of Sumitomo Chemical America from April 2021 to March 2024. In this role, he supervised and administered many aspects of business operations for Sumitomo Chemical America as the regional headquarters.  His connection with Sumitomo Chemical spans multiple decades, beginning with his entry into the company in 1992.

Throughout his career at Sumitomo Chemical, Horiuchi held various significant positions in the fields of accounting and corporate planning. His roles included Senior Manager of the Accounting Department and Corporate Planning Department at the Tokyo Head Office, General Manager at Sumika Finance, and Section Head of Management Accounting at Petro Rabigh.

Horiuchi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kobe University in 1992.
