Abdullah M. Al-Qahtani is Vice President of Industrial
Security at Petro Rabigh, a position he has held since 2014.
Previously, Al-Qahtani served as Vice President of
Engineering & Support from 2012-2014. He was appointed as Maintenance
Manager from the initial stages of the Petro Rabigh Project before he promoted
as VP, E&S.
He is a former Saudi Aramco Employee with over 33 years of
experience in the industry. Al-Qahtani joined Saudi Aramco’s Yanbu Gas
and Terminal Department in 1983 and he has extensive experience and knowledge
in the field of Engineering and project management gained from employment in
Saudi Aramco. In 1999, Al-Qahtani moved to the Rabigh refinery where he applied
his skills across divisions as a superintendent of process operations, in
offsite and tank farm operations, and in engineering and maintenance.
In 1994, Al-Qahtani led engineering and technical support units
and represented the company at Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Best Practices
He is a member of the External Advisory Board Committee of
King Abdulaziz University, Rabigh and Umm Al Qura University, Electrical
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from
the King Saud University in 1983.
