RABIGH REFINING AND PETROCHEMICAL COMPANY (PETRO RABIGH) A NNOUNCES CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND PRESIDENT & CEO OF THE COMPANY

The Board of Directors of Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) approved the following resolutions during its twenty-fifth meeting on Shawwal 21, 1433 (H), corresponding to September 8, 2012:

1 - Accepting the resignation of Eng. Ziad Bin Sami Al-Labban, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer and member of the Company’s Board of Directors, as he concluded his assignment period from Saudi Aramco Company.

2 - Appointing Eng. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Suwailem as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and executive member of the Board of Directors (temporary), succeeding Eng. Ziad bin Sami Al-Labban as of Shawwal 22, 1433 (H), corresponding to September 9, 2012.

Eng. Abdullah Al Suwailem will complete the current session of the Board of Directors which will expire on Dho Al-Hijjah 17, 1433 (H), corresponding to November 2, 2012. Eng. Abdullah Al-Suwailem is an officials of Saudi Aramco, where he held several positions including President of Aramco - Asia Ltd in China which is a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco, and Director of Saudi Aramco Overseas in Hong Kong, in addition to a number of leadership positions in teams appointed by Saudi Aramco to work in the establishment of joint venture companies, including Yanbu Refinery (Yasref), Jubail Refinery (SATORP) and Petro Rabigh.

The resolutions of appointment to the Board of Directors will be submitted to the next General Assembly for approval following approval from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI).

The Board of Directors appreciated the efforts of Eng. Ziad bin Sami Al-Labban, wishing him all future success, and further wished the new President success and prosperity.
